Hands Wet $150

Do you just want to try wet plate collodion?  See what it’s all about?  This option is perfect for you.

What to expect:

  • 1 hour learning session
  • Learn the work workflow
    • Pouring plates
    • Shooting them
    • Developing
    • Fixing
    • Protecting
  • Create 2-3 4×5 plates to take home
  • All equipment and chemistry provided

Half Day Workshop $350

Do you really want to learn the process and be prepared to start pouring on your own? Multiple half days can be put together for an all day session.

What to expect:

  • 4 hour learning session.  Can be individually or a group [$350/per person]
  • All equipment and chemistry provided
  • Learn the workflow
    • Pouring, shooting/exposure, developing, fixing, and protecting.
  • Learn how common issues arise and how to fix them
  • How to make/mix your chemistry
  • Create 6-10 4×5 plates to take home

Quick learning Session $50

Have you been wanting to learn how to shoot and process your own B&W film?  This course will give you the nuts and bolts on what is required.

What to expect:

  • How to load and unload film in your camera
  • How to shoot film
  • Loading film onto the development reel
  • Processing & Drying film
  • Equipment and chemistry provided.  You need to bring your own film

Half Day Workshop $150

Cyanotype Printing was invented in 1842.  This blue process is fun and has a lot of variety available to it.

What to expect:

  • Learn how to mix chemistry
  • Appropriate papers to choose
  • Applying chemistry
  • Exposing image
  • Developing
  • Toning
  • Drying
  • All chemistry and paper provided

HALF DAY WORKSHOP $150

Van Dyke Printing was invented in 1842.  This brown process is fun and creates a classic sepia tone as the final product.

What to expect:

  • Learn how to mix chemistry
  • Appropriate papers to choose
  • Applying chemistry
  • Exposing image
  • Developing
  • Toning
  • Drying
  • All chemistry and paper provided
